Andrew isn’t just from Barbados — he embodies Barbados.
Born and raised on the island, he’s a proud Bajan whose roots run deep. After earning his nursing degree at home, he spent over eight years living and working in the UK and traveling the world. Yet no matter how far he went, Barbados always called him back. Today, with more than 17 years in the taxi and tour industry, he’s one of the island’s most trusted and sought after guides. What sets Andrew apart is his extraordinary knowledge.
He knows the island’s history like a seasoned storyteller, and his passion for nature is unmatched — he can identify almost every tree, plant, and animal you’ll encounter. Fran was born and raised in Germany before relocating to Canada with her family at the age of 17. Her life has been shaped by extensive travel throughout Europe, North America, and the Caribbean, giving her a polished global perspective and an intuitive understanding of European culture and expectations. Her connection to Barbados began in the early 1990s, when she first visited the island and instantly fell in love with its beauty, warmth, and spirit. Since then, Barbados has become her second home. She returns regularly and now spends much of the Canadian winter on the island, embracing its charm and rhythm. Through countless tours and in depth explorations with Andrew, Fran has developed an exceptional familiarity with Barbados — from its iconic landmarks to its hidden, insider only gems.
Together, Andrew and Fran share a genuine passion for Barbados and take pride in offering guests an elevated, personalized experience.
